dark streaks cross the midnight sky,
while glimmers of light force themselves

Stopping The Rhythm

March 1995
Closing the door she yells stop
Stoplight changes from red to green
Green is the color of envy
Envious of what we've never had

[Rainbow Line]

The Shades of Grey

The fog clears on a rainy night
to reveal the morning sunrise.
Soft moist dew on the grass and windows
often blinds our morning vision.

Howling through the night is a lone Wolf's cry

Rhythms of the road dance beneath

In the distance I saw a glaring light
The shadows of darkness surrounded me
Distinct it was filling me with fright
I searched my mind not knowing the key

Fading Light

Glancing through the window at the night
I see before me a clear cloudless sky
Will I be part of this vastness when I die
I think of my soul as a fading light
