TEMPTATION
Rivers of mist fill the air,
Temptation arose without a care.
She never minded the needs of her peers
besides, everybody listens, but nobody hears.
Wandering through a forbidden land
starring at the ocean as it washes up upon the sand.
"Blue-green waves, of the senceless sea"
she whispers, "let them undress me."
Wild laughter fills the air,
as if anyone would even dare.
Glinding acoss the starry sky
a voice, of reason, and then a sigh,
"child go back to where you belong
stop playing with fire, you know this is wrong."
So then, fury builds in her eyes,
"never!, decieve me not with your lies."
On she travles without a hope
she has stepped over the line, can she cope?
For Tempation their was no turning around
a mission to torment all she found.
Alone in the abyss of an empty place
heartless, she stood, a smile upon her face.
Exploring through vast lands
on ticks the time of sands.
Once she came upon a feeling
misunderstood with what she was dealing
taunting, and playing it grew strong
she was reminded that she was wrong.
"Power over me, you have none.
I am absolute, see what I have done."
An example of the tears she has brought
these people where given the pain they sought.
"Why?" questioned compassion, "I've done you no harm."
With a grin, Temptation responded, "have I caused alarm?"
Wicked and evil, this, was all she knew.
Compassion tried, but nothing was left to do.
Finally, with herself compassion made a pact.
I will work hard to fill where Temptation can lack.
Finding all the sorrowful tears,
cleaning up after all these years.
Pain and anger will be felt by none
and this is how the war begun.
