Commercials Brainwash, as the tube drains energy.
Shocking laughter fills the empty room.
Modern day society is reflected,
in many ways, by the fast cars and latest bombing.
"Has O.J been sentenced yet?" asks the
mesmerized audience of middle America.
The dust collects as the watch ticks by.
My latest distraction is the cook on channel nine.
Numb are my legs as I watch the channels fly by.
I'm surfing, through vast waves of trash,
but still I surf them by.
