Somriem en el jardi
i l'omplim amb les nostres rialles.
Els nostres records créixen dia rera dia,
i ens agafem amb força a les millors coses que tenim:
El temps, el nostre únic amic,
el que enforteix les onades del nostre amor,
Fent-ho tant bé com sabem
la brisa ens transportarà endevant
Ell no sap de lligams ni de lleis,

Les nostres llàgrimes esdevenen pluja.
A vegades la pluja és benvinguda,
altres és menyspreada,
