with real or imaginary characters and events.

A young black man murders another young black man for seemingly no reason at all,
but an ancestor has come for answers traveling through space and time.
The ancestor interrogates the young black man. The ancestor offers a theory
to explain the violence and a way to circumvent it.
Chili Con Carne

1st Place Narrative 1993.
Starring: Mel Gibson, Kristy Swanson
When Pete Connely is dumped by his girlfriend, he is sentenced to a term
in a surrealistic male bonding prison. The inmates consist of men who share
one thing, faulty relationships. Every day consists of gambling, football
highlights, drinking, bowling and eating chili con carne. Pete tries to
escape this male bonding hell and redeem himself in the eyes of his love.
