A film or video that deals directly with fact, and tries to convey reality as it is instead of a fictional version of reality. Documentaries show, explore, educate, or persuade the audience to a particular view about some aspect of reality.

"What's Your Favorite Fish?" portrays of Mel Sharpe, the self-described "last man-on-the-street" who has mastered the art of eliciting extraordinary remarks and behavior from ordinary people with his street interviews for radio and television. Combining the observations of Sharpe and two colleagues with excerpts of interviews from his career of over thirty years, the film shows how this manŐs singular surreal work is his expression of a belief in th e dignity and humor of people.
