They meet and there's instant attraction. So much so that before Irving knows what's happening, he finds himself partially undressed, having his neck licked in her hotel room. It's a dream come true... That is, until her licking becomes biting, and her fangs plunge into his throat. Irving loses consciousness as she feeds on his blood. Later, he wakes up, only to discover that he is barely alive and unfortunately, has become a vampire. Through all this, he must navigate his growing hunger, avoid the clutches of other night living vampires, and face his greatest fear - telling his mom.
