Hell
We headed south from our failed meeting in Boulder with the determination not to get caught in the blizzard that was forming. Bob's heat really wasn't working out well, so by the time we got to Trinidad again we piled on about four more layers each. From Trinidad to Santa Fe is only a few hundred miles, but it's also a few thousand feet. An hour after layering up and we were stripped right back down to T-shirts, enjoying the cool spring breeze through the sunroof.
Then the battery died in Albuquerque. Then we stayed at another Motel 6. This is what I looked like in the morning.
