ATP: BwO Multiplicity? Yep. Get used to the word if you plan on reading any D&G. Multiplicity is a very imporant term. But like most important terms in D&G, it's almost impossible to pin down a succinct definition. Remember the breast-machine, mouth-machine, etc? That's a mulitplicity. A system of connections. D&G also reject any kind of binary between the one and the multiple: “It is not a problem of the One and the Multiple but of a fusional multiplicity that effectively goes beyond any opposition between the one and the multiple…There is a continuum of the intensities in substance.” (154). Hmmm.
